The National Center Test kicked off the Japanese entrance exam season.

The two-day long national university entrance exams were held on 18th and 19th January.
According to the National Center for University Entrance Examinations, 560,672 students are sitting for the exams at 693 test centers nationwide.

However, few test takers sit for a good two days, because they usually take only the exams on the subjects required by their target universities on "a la carte" basis. 
As a general tendency, prestigious universities usually regard this test as a first-stage screening, giving their second-stage test later in February or March, while some use the scores of the exams for the final admission decision.

These sites are explained in Japanese and basically boring unless you are struggling in the exam preparation. Noteworthy is that these reviews, analyses, and even the video lectures on the exams are prepared very quickly, within a day or sometimes in half a day after each exam.
